On Wednesday, May 6 from 7–9pm, experience a free live performance by Jodie B, a boundary-pushing artist known for her genre-blending sound and captivating stage presence. Fusing indie, folk, and hip hop through live looping, Jodie creates layered, immersive performances that feel both intimate and expansive.
Her journey has taken her from busking on city streets to performing on international stages alongside artists like Dub FX, The Pharcyde, and Method Man & Redman. A skilled producer and multi-instrumentalist, she has collaborated with Snotty Nose Rez Kids and co-produced work with Slug, further cementing her presence within Canada’s evolving music landscape.
Beyond the stage, Jodie is the co-owner of Frequency Sound 528, a creative hub dedicated to fostering safe, collaborative spaces for artists. Her work reflects a deep commitment to connection—something that resonates strongly in her live performances.
