Under the Amber Lights Featuring Cal Volpe

One Guitar, Endless Layers

Looking for live music in Kelowna on a Wednesday night? Settle in at Vice & Virtue Brewing on Wednesday, November 4th from 7 to 9 pm for Under The Amber Lights, our free live music series that turns a midweek evening into something worth leaving the house for.

This week, Okanagan guitarist, singer, and songwriter Cal Volpe takes the spotlight.

Cal Volpe is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and live looper whose sound is hard to pin down in the best way. He blends the timeless energy of classic rock and folk with the smooth vibes of modern R&B and hip-hop, and the result feels both familiar and fresh. Playing his own diverse catalogue of originals, he also puts his own spin on classic covers, giving songs you know and love an original flavour you haven’t heard before.

Cal’s live looping is what makes his show something to see. Layering guitar, vocals, and rhythm in real time, this one-man show builds a rich, full sound that captivates the room. Whether you’re a longtime fan of classic rock, a folk lover, or someone who just wants good music with a pint, Cal’s set has something for you.

Great live music pairs best with great food and drink. Arrive early and enjoy an elevated bite from our kitchen, then explore our diverse lineup of craft beer. Whether you’re meeting friends after work, planning a casual date night, or looking for a welcoming place to catch live entertainment in the Okanagan, Vice & Virtue is an inclusive space where everyone is welcome to relax and stay awhile.

The music is free, but if you like what you hear, consider tipping the artist.
