Under The Amber Lights returns to Vice & Virtue Brewing on Wednesday, November 11th from 7 to 9pm with Kelowna singer-songwriter Sammy Cooper. It’s a free live music night in the heart of the Okanagan, and a great reason to get out of the house, grab a pint, and spend the evening with your community.
Sammy Cooper is a singer-songwriter based in Kelowna, BC, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. His music blends rock, folk, and pop, carried by dynamic vocals and lyrics that explore love, life, and personal growth. It’s the kind of songwriting that feels familiar and personal at the same time, which makes it easy to connect with whether you came for the music or just stopped in for a beer.
In August 2023, Sammy released his debut album, The Awakening, launching his solo career. Since then, he has performed across Canada, earning recognition for his thoughtful writing and engaging live performances. His shows are interactive and energetic, mixing original songs with a few well-chosen covers and plenty of storytelling to tie the night together. Expect to laugh, sing along, and leave knowing a little more about the songs and the person behind them.
