Under the Amber Lights Featuring Cal Volpe

Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Loop-driven soul, folk grooves, and blues guitar.

Vice & Virtue Brewing invites you to an evening of genre-blurring live music with singer-songwriter and looping artist Cal Volpe, live at the brewery on Wednesday, September 16th from 7-9pm. This is a free event, so grab a seat, order a pint, and settle in for a night of great local music.

Cal Volpe is a solo artist who builds full-band soundscapes in real time using a loop station, layering rhythmic blues and folk-rock guitar work with soulful pop melodies and the storytelling instincts of a lyricist. Raised in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Cal grew up absorbing everything from Rock and Folk to Hip Hop, Jazz, R&B, and Blues, and that range shows in his sound, part retro warmth, part modern innovation. Before music, Cal was on a path toward collegiate hockey, but he left the ice behind to chase his passion for songwriting and performance. What he’s built since is a live show unlike most solo acts in the Okanagan: one musician, one loop pedal, and a constantly evolving wall of sound that shifts between genres without ever losing its groove.

Join us at the brewery for a laid-back Wednesday night featuring live music in Kelowna, a well-poured pint, and the kind of small-room show where you can actually hear every note. Whether you’re a regular or discovering Vice & Virtue for the first time, this is a night built for good conversation, good beer, and even better music.

Seats are limited, reservations are recommended.

The music is free, but if you enjoy what you hear, consider tipping the artist
