Under the Amber Lights Featuring Shalisa

Wednesday, September 9 at 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Alt-country powerhouse Shalisa lights up Vice & Virtue

Pull up a stool and settle in, Under the Amber Lights is back, and this month we’re pouring pints to the sound of Shalisa, one of Canadian country music’s fastest-rising independent voices.

Set for Wednesday, September 9th from 7-9pm, this intimate live music night is exactly what Vice & Virtue does best: real music in a room built for listening.

Shalisa is an alt-country pop artist from right here in Kelowna, BC, and her sound refuses to sit still. She blends country twang with rock grit, pop hooks, and soul, creating a genre-bending style that’s earned her a reputation as one of the most exciting independent country artists coming out of Canada right now. Her live shows are known for powerhouse vocals, rebellious and comedic storytelling, and the kind of high-energy performance that turns a Wednesday night into something worth telling your friends about.

Shalisa was a Top 5 Nominee for both Emerging Artist and Interactive Artist of the Year at the 2026 BCCMAs, and has already shared stages with major names in Canadian country including Robyn Ottolini, Chad Brownlee, JoJo Mason, and Kyle McKearney. This summer, she’ll join Madeline Merlo as direct support on tour. Her breakout single “Bad Hangover” hit #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, cementing her as the voice behind late-night drive anthems, comedic honesty, and a fresh, rule-bending take on country music.

Grab a table, order a bite from our kitchen, and enjoy live music Kelowna style, up close, unplugged, and unforgettable. Whether you’re a longtime country fan or just looking for a great Wednesday night out in the Okanagan, Under the Amber Lights featuring Shalisa is the kind of show that reminds you why local live music matters.
