Wednesday, July 15 at 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Powerful alt folk songwriting rooted in hope and transformation

Under The Amber Lights Live Music Series returns to Vice & Virtue Brewing on Wednesday, July 15 from 7 to 9pm with a free live performance by Kansas-lee.

For more than a decade, Kansas-lee has been refining her voice as a songwriter and performer, creating music that blends soulful folk influences with powerful storytelling and emotional depth. Her songs are marked by intricate guitar work, beautifully crafted lyrics, and a vocal presence that captures attention from the very first note.

Known for her timeless and tender approach to alt folk songwriting, Kansas-lee explores themes of growth, resilience, and self discovery through music that feels both intimate and uplifting. Her latest studio album, Ostara, represents the culmination of years spent honing her craft, offering a collection of songs rooted in hope and inspired by the quiet magic of becoming.

Whether performing stripped back ballads or more expansive folk arrangements, Kansas-lee creates an atmosphere that invites listeners to slow down, reflect, and connect with the stories unfolding in each song. Her performances are captivating without being flashy, drawing audiences in through authenticity, warmth, and emotional honesty.

Much like the music itself, the evening promises a thoughtful and unhurried pace. Guests can settle in with a glass of wine, enjoy elevated shared plates, or explore Vice & Virtue’s rotating selection of small batch craft beer while taking in an intimate live performance. For those who appreciate meaningful songwriting and artists who leave a lasting impression, this is a night not to miss.
